Upcoming Site Changes (November 2017)

Alex and I did not begin our careers as professional programmers, so building our site has been a long and challenging journey. There’s been plenty to learn about coding and design in order for us to deliver an enjoyable experience to our users. Each step of this learning process has felt frustratingly slow at times, but also carry with them an enormous sense of satisfaction when progress is made.

With that in mind, I’m very happy to announce that in the coming month we’re going to be implementing two main changes and a variety of small changes to the site that we hope will greatly improve usability and will generally make things more pleasant for our users.

First, we’re in the process of overhauling the look and feel of the site on mobile devices, and we’re ready this month to implement a new navigation bar to both clean up the way the site renders on mobile devices and make it easier to access important pages throughout the site.

Second, we have also been considering a redesign to the way games are displayed on the front page and will be taking our first baby steps in that direction this month.  We hope that by presenting you with a bit more information about each game right on off the bat (instead of just the cover image for each game) you’ll have an easier time finding the games you’d like to play.

Finally,  thanks to wonderful feedback from our users, we’re ready to implement a long list of small changes that’ll help smooth out the rough edges that were left over from the early stages of development. We apologize our response time has been a little slow on this one, but we really did take all of your suggestions to heart and are happy to finally move forward with the changes you’ve requested!

We expect the first few changes to land within a week, and many others to continue rolling out over the course of month. Of course, we know we still have a long way to go, so please feel free to send us any advice you have to support@lbostore.com (or tweet us @LBOstore). We’d love to hear from you and hope you enjoy the improved site!
